Tsunejiro Minami, the founder and the first company president, started the wrought iron tooling business “Nantsune Cutlery Works” at 4-chome Katsuyama-dori, Tennoji-ku, Osaka City

1929
“Nantsune” became the registered trademark. The company was known as Nantsune Works for its unique cutting flavor.
Inspired by Netherlands Berkel ham and bacon cutting machines, the company created Japan’s first meat cutting machine and started manufacturing and selling it -
1949
The name of the Nantsune Works was changed to the Nantsune Machinery Works due to business expansion

Tsuneo Minami (2nd generation), the eldest son, succeeded the business and established “Nantsune Iron Works Co., Ltd.” transforming from a private enterprise

1955
Started manufacturing and selling ham cutters, mince machines, and delicatessen equipment

1960
Built and relocated to a reinforced concrete factory in Tatsumi Nishi-Ashirodai-cho, Ikuno-ku, Osaka City

1961
Started manufacturing and selling ham and sausage processing machines
Manufactured and sold roller-type meat cutting machines which later became bestsellers -
1964
Built a processing machine specialized factory in Yao City, Osaka Prefecture, and relocated the processing machinery division

1967
Started construction of the current factory in Fujiidera City for factory expansion. Completed the first phase of construction and closed and relocated the Yao factory

Completed the second phase of Fujiidera factory construction and relocated the Ikuno head office factory

December 24: Founder and Chairman Nichijo Minami passed away (Shodoin Nichijo Shonin)

April 8: Funeral ceremony for Shodoin Nichijo Shonin, completed Kanjiso
